What is HDR?
Utilizing state of the art HDR or "High Dynamic Range" photography for our Real Estate and Vacation Rental projects allows us to create affordable dynamic images for vacation rental managers and real estate agents. Our specialized software optimizes your listing with detailed and color corrected images blending the inside room with the outdoor view. This is especially critical on Maui as most vacation rentals sell based on the view from the lanai. Your clients want to see the blue ocean while still being able to tell what the living room looks like. Instead of bringing the entire lighting studio into your unit, HDR provides an affordable alternative for your photography needs. Our typical Maui vacation rental HDR shoot includes 30 high resolution fully retouched and color balanced digital files with limited reproduction rights. We have been shooting HDR for years and are adept at getting in and out of your unit between bookings without disturbing anyone. Generally we like to shoot homes and condos in the morning when the sun is to the east because most Maui properties face west toward the ocean. The light on the pacific at that time of day creates a brilliant saturated blue that says "Hawai'i" writ large. Our shoots include on-property amenities such as pool and barbecue and if there's a beach across the street we'll shoot that too. If you're located in Lahaina town we can shoot some local town images like Front Street or the Harbor for an additional fee. A typical 30 image shoot in a typical 2 bdrm. condo takes about an hour and a half. We turn the files in a couple of days via digital download. Our rates are reasonable which insures a quick return on your investment because your professional listing is augmented with well crafted images by an owner who cares about his service.

Phone shots with blown out windows, strange perspective shifts, and awkward shadows don't allow your potential renters to get an accurate view of your property. We color correct, do perspective shifts, balance indoor and outdoor exposures and we even show up on time! Give us a call when you can.
